Now I’m gonna share some credit making tips with you so you can advertise your blog on more websites and gain more traffic.

To get credits you need to drop on blog right ?
Why not gain 1000 credits per day in just 1 hour ? Yes, you can do that.
There are a lot of people that made dropping super easy by creating fast loading pages with just their entrecard widget.

Here are some of these great lists:

• PowerDropping
• dpositiveside
• Unpredictable Life
• Hulag
• EntreDrop

Go to EntreCard, login and then start dropping your card on all of these websites.
It’s free traffic, takes little time ( I do it in about 1 hour ). Make sure you use Mozilla Firefox, open as many links as you can in tabs at once and after you dropped your card on a blog use CTRL + W to close the tab and go to the next one.

Having more than 1 website or blog is better if you plan to make more money.
At the moment I have 4 blogs.

• Sava’s Place
• PantherKut
• Baby Doll
• Sava dot name

Each of these website earns $100 a month … more or less. So, 4 websites would earn $400 or more per month right ?
As you can see in my April 2008 earnings I earned $400 with just 3 blogs. Sava dot name was in the making.

And yes, having more websites or blogs automaticly takes more of your time. If you want to earn enough to support yourself you have to work a lot, no matter what you do.

Calculate your time, especially your time spent online and try to make things a lot easier.
If you have a Wordpress blog here are some tips to help you save a lot of time and manage to keep alive more blogs.

Images in post

Wordpress 2.5 has a pretty nifty feature to insert a bunch of images at once in your post.

Imagine if you want to publish 30 photos from your vacation on your blog and how much time it would take.

Don’t put your blog on pause if you’re travelling

Wordpress has 2 other handy features. The first one is the Schedule.

If you’re gone for 10 days schedule at least 3 posts at least once every 3 days. Remember to schedule posts for each of your blogs. People subscribe very often to blogs that update rarely.

Or you can easily Post via e-mail.
Go to Settings in your Wordpress admin panel and then Writing. Create a secret email address that only you know and enter it’s details there.
You see a lot of stuff happen when you’re on the go. Why not share them right when those interesting, worth mentioning things happen ? Even if you’re in a train you can easily send an email from your phone to the secret email account.

Your brand new post is live and you didn’t even touch your computer.

What I like about it is that you can advertise your blog on other blogs that match your category.
Here are some tips to increase your traffic and subscribers to.

Why do I say subscribers to ? If people are subscribed at the blog you advertise on there is a high chance they will like your blog to and subscribe.

First of all you need to sign up at Entrecard.
After you added your blog and the widget on your blog you need to get some ec’s (entrecard points).
For that you need to visit blogs and drop a click on their widget. You will get 1 ec for 1 drop and it takes time to gather a decent amount of ec’s.

This is where Firefox can do much help.

Go to your Firefox preferences on the content tab and uncheck Load images automatically.

And make sure you add an exception for http://entrecard.com. This will load the websites very quick, without any images but the entrecard widget will be shown because you added the exception.

Now that you are ready to “power drop” navigate to Campaign, go to the category your blog is in, drop on as many blogs as you can and use the credits to advertise on them.

Google AdSense is the program that can give you advertising revenue from each page on your website – with a minimal investment in time and no additional resources.

AdSense delivers relevant text and image ads that are precisely targeted to your site and your site content. And when you add a Google search box to your site, AdSense delivers relevant text ads that are targeted to the Google search results pages generated by your visitors’ search request.

There are a lot of websites out there that sell a list of the best paying keywords and other stuff like that.
Don’t ever buy one.

If you want to succeed with Google AdSense you need to do the following:

• Create an ad and make sure it’s colors blend in nicely with your current site theme.
• Try to make your visitors see the ad (read below).
• Write at your best to make your visitors come back.

If I create a Google AdSense ad for Sava dot name I would place it at the top of the sidebar, make the ads background the same as the sidebar background and the ad color would be white.

To make the visitors see the ad you need a little jQuery magic. Take a look at my other blog ( Sava’s Place » Blog ).

As you can see there are 2 adsense ads above the fold which load 1 second after the other. Placing that loading animation and the content going down to make room for the ad will surely catch the eye.

Make sure you also use AdSense for Search and Referrals.

To make things a lot easier add URL channels.

This way you can track things easier. You can add a page from your blog as a channel and track the performance of that single post.
You can add up to 150 URL channels and I think it’s more than enough.

I really like the idea because you have a much better click-through rate now that the ads are part of your content.
And yes, you can use Kontera along with Google Adsense, WidgetBucks and other Money Makers.

There are some things you have to do to improve your gains from Kontera.

Right after you sign up and your website (blog) gets approved, you need to contact Kontera staff and ask them to increase the number of ads that are shown. And of course you can contact them in case you have more than one blog and ask them to review them. If the other blogs are accepted you will receive the javascript code for all of them.

The only tip I have is this: your Kontera ads should have the same color as the existing links of your blog.

Kontera should be used as it doesn’t interfere with your other ads, doesn’t take up space on your layout and the ads can open up in a new window ( look for this in their Knowledge Base).

You get paid to write reviews on websites or products. It’s really easy and you get 10$ for 100-200 words on your blog.

The hard part is getting offers before others so you get more money.

I wrote a script called ReviewMe offer notifier which send an email whenever a new offer is available on the website.

You can download it from Sava’s Place » PHP/MySQL Web Scripts.

You need to edit the script and enter your own RSS URL from the My Account Page in ReviewMe.

Click on the highlighted link, get the URL you are taken to and make sure you enter it in the configuration file of the script.

You will have to add a cron job every 30 minutes so you can get notified about new offers.
If you don’t know how to use cron jobs I also wrote a tutorial.

I never missed an opportunity with this script.

To make money you will have to place contextual ad widgets on your blog or website. Visitors will actually click on the ads and find them engaging.
They also have a very high click value.

Increasing your earnings means testing a lot of stuff. If you just place an ad on your website, let it be and hope for a high click rate and a high click value then you will surely fail.
Considering WidgetBucks has a lot of products to advertise they sort them by categories.
When you create a widget you can either choose a category yourself or let MerchSense (MerchSense is a bot that crawls your page and finds relevant products to include in your widget) find the best products suitable to your blog.

I suggest you try every category first and see which one has the highest click value. Create a lot of widgets and place them on different pages of your website (blog) and make sure you manage to place a widget for every category.

Also make sure you put descriptions for your widgets also, and maybe put in the URL where the widget is located so you can track the performance better.

Here’s how I create my Widgets

As you can see I like to fill in every text input for each widget.

What you should always write in the comments is the URL where the widget will be located and the category of products it will show. Your widgets will then appear just like in the picture above.

Writing details when creating the widget will make it much more easier to view which widget has more views, clicks and of course which one has the highest click value.

Once you settle for a category make sure you edit all the other widgets and set the right category (the highest paying one). If you had clicks, you will surely have better paying clicks now.

I had this error to and I had to search a lot to find a fix.
So … to make things easier to you here’s what you have to do.

First of all you login to your FTP account, and look for a file called .htaccess
Now if you already have a .htaccess file there download it, open it with any text editor and place this code in it. If there is some other code in the file make sure the code below above everything.
